The Jehovah Witness organization is just a group of people trying to serve God as they believe to be the right way.

Link here = Jehovah Witness Official website: About Jehovah's Witnesses

That Christian church group has over 7 million members worldwide.

When the JWs visit at your home, then just talk to them about religion, instead of hiding away.

I cordially greet Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormon Missionaries whenever they come to my front door.

I do not hide The Truth away from them at all and actually take the opportunity to explain the difference between Biblical faith and the faith that their individual denomination teaches.

BTW: They do listen and then walk away. Have not been visited by either of these groups lately. Hmm...

What happened to the other thread about Jehovah's Witnesses? I asked a question and I didn't see the reply.... did I miss it?

When a person pays the $20 per year subscription and get the (Premo) aside our name as is on mine, then we can delete our own thread if we want to.

So that is what happened to that other thread.

I suspect that the person wanted their thread to simply be a hate the JWs when instead it turned rather complimentary to the JWs and that is why they deleted that other thread.

As such I figured to start up a new thread to replace the lost one.

I though that some one did answer your question, but anyway I do not remember what your question was, as everything got deleted.

I was wondering the same thing earlier. Seemed to have disappeared into cyberspace or maybe one of the administrators can let us know if the thread has been "deleted" for some reason.

It disappeared into the heavens with the 144,000, and only 144,000.:drummer:

They don't come to my door, they respect the no soliciting sign, or maybe it's the beware of dog sign. Once my daughter and I were working in the yard and they walked up, to her since she was closest and I noticed they left really quick. I asked her what they wanted, she told me and she also said she told them we are Atheist. So, if you want something that works, apparently, this does. My daughter is 14, a quick thinker and a smart Alec too boot.

The question was written from the heart so I can't remember exactly what I asked but in essence I asked about the fate of the Jehovah's Witness in the end times....

The Bible says that during the great Tribulation the world will become new. Before that the world will suffer earthquakes that will move mountains, war, famine, water turning to blood and plagues. From what I read the houses that are here now won't exist....

All that said.... if the Jehovah's Witness follower doesn't knock on enough doors and find enough people to lead to salvation... they won't go to Heaven to live in one of the many mansions? They will go through the time of Great Tribulation only to be here on earth with no place to live?

I'm not bashing... I am truly concerned... do they know that? Don't they know the 144,000 are jewish and the 144,000 are going to preach the gospel to the nations during the Tribulation? Doesn't their Bible teach them that? Do they have a different Bible?

I for one believe that there is plenty of room in Heaven... For Jesus to say there are many mansions... there is surely a place for me there.... I believe He will call me up before the days of the Great Tribulation.... and I will see Jesus, the mansions and that river of gold my dad and I talked about before he passed away....

I don't want anyone to have to go through the Great Tribulation just because someone sold them a bad plan and lied to them...

Most people have better things to do, or have to get to work - you wouldn't understand either of those things you piece of ####. Maybe you can campaign to them and they can start www.somdjw.com and you can be a board moderator.

I've heard that basically any non-Christian religion makes them run away. I find that a little strange -- if they're going around trying to spread "the word", then wouldn't it make the most sense to spread it to the people who they would consider the "most confused"? I don't see why they only want to talk to Christians and try to sway them. Oh well.

I had a professor who is a Jehovah's Witness...kudos to him for never bringing it up in class. Was one of my all time favs too.

...Do they have a different Bible?

Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses not only have a different version of The Bible but they also refer more to "supplemental" writings published by The Watchtower Society which indoctrinates them into the JW beliefs.

This is similar to Mormonism. The LDS Church sprinkles out-of-context Biblical verses into their teachings but their doctrine is mostly framed from "supplemental" writings - such as: The Book of Mormon; Pearl of Great Price and the LDS Doctrine & Covenants which indoctrinates them into the Mormon beliefs.

This is the modus-operandi of pseudo-Christian cults. They each have a slew of "supplemental" teachings apart from just the Holy Bible that followers are expected to learn and abide by.

The Holy Bible, in particular The New Testament, contains all The Truth one ever needs to know about establishing a personal and spiritual relationship with God through repentance and placing complete faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

All other "supplemental" writings that distort Biblical Truth become "another gospel" and teach "another Jesus".

I was thinking the same thing, especially for someone who says they are Atheist.

Most Jehovah's Witnesses fear encountering the hostility of Atheists and believe that Atheists are children of the devil and cannot be "converted". Thus, no use engaging Atheists with the JW tracts and discussions.

Thanks.... I guess I know what to show them if they come knocking on my door now.... I am worried for them.... But then again, I guess they will be part of the great soul harvest.... hopefully...

Nobody "respects" things like that.

You clearly have no idea of what "respect" means.

People staying away from you based on you showing what kind of a unfriendly person that you are - is not an act of respect.

Maya Angelou said, "If, someone shows you who they are, Believe them"

You do demonstrate what you are - and it is not respect you get in return.
