Jennifer Convertibles

But wait, there's more...
Anyone ever buy any sofa's/chairs/love seats from them? I'm curious about their quality/customer service -- good or bad. I'm going shopping this weekend for a new living room set and they have a couple things in their flyer that caught my eye, but I recall a few years ago reading some bad PR about 'em. :ohwell:

:lmao: I don't get close enough to see or smell when he's coppin' a squat.

But back on topic, I was just browsing IKEA, and here's something I don't understand. This sofa has a removable cover so you can have it cleaned or change out looks. BUT as you change cover colors, certain ones are available online and certain ones aren't. If the only difference is the cover color, why wouldn't they all be available online or in the store only? It's not like it's a whole different product or anything. I could see different models or different products altogether being available in stores only, but the identical sofa with only a different color cover?

Ikea couches aren't very comfortable. :ohwell:

IKEA isnt big on online sales. They want you to come in to the store. They make more money that way...

Plus some of the covers could be made at different facilities around the world and it's not cost effective for IKEA to make them available online.

Most of them look 'euro' or something and don't look at all comfortable ... but that one I posted a link to does. I want something soft, cuddly, plush, etc., since it'll be for the family room.

I guess I could see that being the case. :ohwell:

I'll probably end up going with one of the local companies here ... most of the major brand/quality furniture makers are in my area, so the prices are wayyyy less than you'll see them across state lines. :yay:

I've sat on most of their couches, and wasn't impressed with the comfort...then again, everybody's fat ass in the Greater DC Metro Area has also sat on the same couch, so that may affect it a little. As far as Ikea's other products, they rock. Our bedroom set, and the little one's are from Ikea. I definitely wouldn't buy the couch without sitting on it first though. :yay:

That'll go in front of the fireplace! :really:

Lemme get some opinions ... I'm loving these two chairs -- one in ruby and one in a sage color. I'm thinking -- instead of getting a formal set of furniture to put in the formal living area, to just put a couple chairs in that room. I'm debating getting these, and thought about getting one in each color and swapping out the pillows for accent. The paint is a neutral beige color with light oak hardwood floors. Whatta ya think? Go with different colors, go with both in Ruby or both in Sage (which I think will be too bland)?

I hope to Christ Jabba signs on here quick! She's got a great eye for color and whatnot. :tap:
