If you go that direction, definately ruby and NOT the sage. Sage is usually very attractive, but I find that particular shade to be washed out. :blah: And to be honest, those chairs don't look that comfortable because they have no arms/sides to be able to lean on.... think about it... how often do you find yourself sitting up straight and center...

:yeahthat: With a light floor, the sage will wash out the room. The ruby is definitely prettier and more appealing to the eye. :yay:

Thank you! That confirms my reason for buying 'em to begin with! :lmao:

See, I'm not a "formal LR" kinda chic (surprise surprise ) ... and I won't drop the benjamins to furnish a Formal LR ... so the only time these chairs would be sat in is someone stops by whom I do not want to stay long. Lack of comfort should expedite their departure ... and make the room look pretty for $400! :lmao:

You don't have to use it as a living room. You could make it a little office, or playroom...

K's room is big enough to be her bedroom/playroom/etc. all in one (which is a godsend cuz it'll keep all the clutter consolidated to one place.

It'll actually have a dual purpose ... a semi-formal sitting area by the windows and a nice desk concealing my computer with some plants and stuff. There's lots of natural light that brightens the room without washing it out thanks to lots of mature, 30+ foot trees.

That's where the beauty of having glass-paneled doors at each entrance to the room comes into play. :really: Otherwise, I know Fluff would park his fat feline ass allllllll over 'em.
