What do y'all think about the new song "Jesus take the wheel", by American Idol 2005 winner Carrie Underwood?

Does it not fit as a new Christian Song? I think it fits quite well indeed.
As the big contest winner, she had a lot of pressure and a lot of people concerned about what would be on her first album and the producers must have thought hard about the front foremost track and her first video too being named after Jesus and her song singing Jesus take the... Jesus take... Jesus... over and over in the chorus. I think Carrie Underwood is most probably a southern Baptist and her song of "Jesus take the wheel" is a bold and brave and daring thing for her to do. I like to see courage in a performer.
It could have flopped or failed so one would expect the producers to come out with some safe and politically correct learics. Of course it could be that Jesus is a safe way to go?????? The song even has a metaphor of Jesus take the wheel of her life and not just the wheel of the car so that song comes out like a two edged sword striking the flesh and the spirit.
Her album / CD did come out in November and it does mention Christmas in the opening lines and Country music does some times have a Christian base in it so she did have some sound props for the song but I think Carrie Underwood was really giving a testimonial and a witness for Christianity and so I do like the song very much indeed.
What does y'all think bout it?
