In My Opinion
would it not be funny if the elections were
JP against Ehrlich in Novemeber?

can you just imagine those debates?

LOL! It would probably go like "Mr. Ehrlich...if you paid child support than you would know where I'm coming from!!".

 Ehrlich could show up to each debate drunk and naked and still prove to be the better candidate than JokeJP.

JP would like a fish out of water.

You mean:

1. he would have to speak coherently?
2. being involved in a meaningful election in Nov?
3. he would have to sober and drug free?
4. he would not be able to talk of his "disabilities?"
5. he would have to discuss current and relevant events?

No wonder he would be like a fish out of water!!!!

I think thats an indicator of the amount of practical jokers who voted in the primaries.

Actually, I think it shows the dissatisfaction with O'Malley in the Dem party...they skipped his name and went to the next name on the list.

According to WaPo he got 10% of the vote. Which frankly I was a bit surprised by...:coffee:
Can't say I was surprise by the number of votes JP has gotten.

There's plenty of people that's tried of O'Malley and would vote for anyone but him.

There's a few people that would love nothing more then to have "Child Support and Custody Laws" Eliminated and wouldn't have to pay the back child support they owed.

There's a few people that would love to see non-violent criminals get out of jail.

That's a clear picture of the kind of people that voted for JP.

I'm surprise that Jaffe didn't get more votes. Jaffe said he was willing to work for "Free".
Now how many candidates would do that?

Jaffe said, "I will serve free. I will set aside the $150,000 annual salary of the governor for the purpose of trying to hire a combination of three teachers, firefighters and/or police officers."

Source: Baltimore Sun

It would have been interesting to see Jaffe on the forums.
Doesn't seem he was to interested in being the next Governor.

Apparently, the day has been so big he has avoided popping his head into the daylight. Vrai called the race for Owe'Malley shortly after 9p last night, and Jimmy said yesterday that his computer is working normally again, so he most likely saw the results last night, but certainly he's had all day to digest them. Maybe he's not as content with losing as he claimed. :coffee:

Maybe he is waiting for the absentee ballots to be counted...

I thought perhaps he had called the MD Board of Elections and demanded a recount, but surely he knows a recount can only be done when a result is extraordinarily close, not extraordinarily wide.
