Has anyone had a birthday party at the Jump Yard? How did it go? Trying to find something I can do. I have done the home party 2 years in a row and looking for something I don't have to clean up this year.

Is that the place in / near Lex. Pk? My 5 yo went to a party at the place near Ryken. Wasn't too bad. They had quite a few blow-up slides, etc for the kids and for extra $ you can do the go chart. My daughter and I rode the go carts (inside track) and it was a blast.

Might be. It was pretty cool. Like I said my daughter had a blast. I'm sure when I take my 8 YO she'll spend most of her time on the go carts, lol.

I live in Mechanicsville by the WaWa near the 5 /235 split
Jump Yard is in Lex. Park.
The road the movie theater is on runs into Great Mills Rd. There is a shopping center there. Jump yard is in that shopping center.

The place in Leonardtown is on old Rt. 5. Take Rt. 5, go straight thru the light where the college is. Go south and make a right at the next intersection (Ryken is on your right). Go down that road, and the place on the left at the bottom of the hill.

One Stop Family Adventure 301-997-0030 (Leonardtown)

Our ride that day was free. They gave the wrong room for the party. I believe you can pay per ride or buy several rides at one price.

Basic birthday package (for 10 kids)
(No food, No cake, bring your own)
includes:
1 hour moon bounce time
Reserved Birthday Room
$2.00 towards Video Games

$175.00 + tax
and you add on for $25.00 a go-kart ride

JumpYard Party

I had both my kids parties at the JumpYard last year. Had the last at home party when my son was 4. It turned out to be a mess...having to find activities for the kids to do, feed and entertain parents as well as kids, and then clean up the mess. Was way too expensive!
Found the JumpYard, booked the party, and all we had to do was show up. They provided everything, from table settings to cake and treat bags. The kids had a blast! And in the months of their birthdays, it was too cold to do anything outside, so this worked out great.

My girls birthdays are March and April. Very unpredictable weather. I'd love to be able to do it at Dorsey park where the kids could run around and play on the playground. What's a good age range for the Jump Yard? I'm sure my oldest would consider herself "too old" for it. She'll be 9. My youngest will be 6.

yeah yeah
The JumpYard is good.. however, the rooms are small for the parties. I had 16 kids invited, and when its a 2 year olds bday party- it is normal for the parents to come too. It was QUITE CROWDED- otherwise, it was great fun, and they provided everything.

We drove by that One Stop place a few month ago and I went in and checked it out. My boy is turning 7 this week and I didn't see a bunch of 7-yo boys being entertained too long in that place. Go carts looked nice, but that would only be for so long and for the price, I didn't see it.

When I asked him what he wanted to do, he elected to have a home party so that he could invite as many friends as he wanted and could show off all his toys....boy invited 15 of his closest friends :banghead:
