of Parmigiano Reggiano. How do they cut that stuff?

Do you have a serrated (sp?) kitchen knife; like a bread knife? Or an electric turkey carver? or a band saw?
I believe, once you cut it in half, you can use a cheese slicer; that's what I call it. It shaves "ribbons" of cheese from the inside.

They don't cut it. They hold a picture of Chuck Norris in front of it and the force of his aura causes the cheese to break in half.

I've only bought small pieces; I usually just run it up against the grater. I have one of the 4 sided ones that includes a slicer side. Or I just use the vegetable peeler when I want "curls".

:yeahthat: I actually use a microplane zester/grater and it works perfect.
