Well I am 30, but I do understand this kind of mindset was here in the 60's during the Vietnam war too, but just in the time I can remember it seems people have become less patriotic and support the people who protect us less.
Now many of those Vietnam-era hippies and flower children are actively involved in running this country. And if they're not running the country, they're "teaching" at colleges and universities, spreading their anti-American venom between bong hits to impressionable and idealistic youngsters who don't have a clue.

It'll be interesting to see what the next 20 years brings for this country.

I'm not sure I want to know what we'll be like in 20 years! If - we're still around, that is.
There are lots of unfriendly countries lining up against us in the middle east and the far east. If the Dems do not take national security seriously, we could be in a lot of trouble.
Radical Islam may be a small faction of the main religion, but it's a worldwide terrorist threat. You'd have a hard time thinking of a country that hasn't felt it's wrath.

Considering that my peers will probably be running it, I'm a little nervous myself. :roflmao:

This is what they do to people like her, in places that she would like this country to be like.

You mean like our former ally, South Viet Nam?

"The shooter was later identified as Lt. Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Loan, police chief of South Vietnam. Adams said he walked up to him and said, "They killed many of my people, and yours, too" and then just walked away."

The woman is obviously delusional and deserves some quality time in an institution, but you’re taking an image and applying it out of context. Know any other folks who may do this?
Ed

Tie her ass to a pole at the entrance of any military base & let everyone walk by & spit in her face.

I know, I used to be a man. I'm trying to be kind. :ohwell:

Those who know me know what I'd really do to her.

...it was much, MUCH worse in the 60's and 70's. In those days there was still public discrimination, still overt racism, still some lynchings, a very profound anti government/establishment movement(s), serious poverty, endless marches and real fears based on real things.

Today, people dress up like turtles, demand justice for celebrity criminals and feign outrage over entitlements or lack there of.

Vets home from Vietnam truly felt alienated and were truly despised in many places. Now, it's all vanity, searching for a cause where there isn't much of one.
