Came out to sit on the front porch this evening to enjoy an adult beverage and listen to the evening nature sounds, but it is ducking noisy out here! Helos from NESEA, planes from DCA, trucks from hollyrock, and dirt bikes from the neighbor kids - I can’t hear myself read the forums tonight for Gods sake! oh yeah - and the GD neighbor’s barking dog that hates to be outside- just keep that GD sissy dog inside!

For which annoyance? I would need at least a .22 for either since neighbors and roads are not spitting distance from my front porch.

Just had another jet buzz my house, had to run outside to make sure it wasn't another wayward F35.

The 2 houses next to me decided that today was the best day to burn wet wood. The breeze was blowing the smoke directly into my house, which was awesome.

I burned wet cardboard yesterday- my neighbor (not the barking dog neighbor but the neighbor I like) razzed me about it because wind was taking the smoke to his house. I swear the wind changes as soon as I light the burn pile- never towards my house either…

The noise from 235 nightly, illegal exhausts, racing, ... I can't open the windows at night. And no enforcement of any kind.

I know what you mean, today I had like 5 cars drive up the hill (one the mail lady), a helicopter fly by, and birds and critters just raising hell (deer snorting, turkeys clucking). Didn't hear any planes fly over though, I don't think they know someone lives here.

What was that dogs name? I once knew someone that named her dog Arf. The hilarity ensued when it got loose and she ran chasing it down the road calling its name.

Pretty sure its not the dog's real name, I just hear him yell that far more than its name, he escapes the fence a lot and doesn't like to go back in.
