I am a second generation Persian-American.. My grandfather came here with his family at the age of 8.. political exiles from Persia, saved by Methodist missionaries Upon arrival at Ellis Island, they changed the family last name... WE have NO idea what our real last name is.

Im suprised that we have as many Native Americans as we have. Honestly, when is the last time you actually saw two Native Americans chillin at Red Lobster?:wink:

I'm a European Caucasian; I know, that one wasn't on the list, but it means white anyways.

Both of my great-grandparents were emigrees from the capital city of Budapest, Hungary, back in the 1880's.

We all lived in upper NY State within a 100 miles of each other.

Gawd, when I was a kid, did they like to party and dance on weekends!?!

BTW, I know at least one of the Native Americans on these forums; she's good lookin', young and a fun gal. Her daddy is a Park Ranger, I think.
