Not true. Biden was on the primary ballot (with Dean Phillips, Marianne Williamson, and uncommitted to any Presidential Candidate), Harris was not on it anywhere, thus those pledged delegates are solely for Biden.
With Biden dropping out those delegates were no longer bound to the pledge. Since the drop-out the DNC has changed the rules as to how things will be handled and seems that they have obtained promises of intent from enough that they set up a virtual convention to set her as the nominee to meet deadlines to get on the general ballot everywhere.
I don’t think the Democrats can survive another stunt like that one.The guy who guaranteed that Biden would drop out and when, also guaranteed that Harris would not be the nominee after the dem convention.
I have little doubt she gets dumped at the convention.
Nancy Psycho-Losi has already delivered the kiss of death once.

Has anyone ever heard of anyone running in a primary - any party - and their VP is on it WITH them? Ever? Sometimes the President DROPS their current VP and picks someone else. FDR had John Nance Garner but in 41 went with Wallace -only to drop Wallace - for Truman. Ford ditched Rockefeller - for Dole. Just cuz someone’s your veep doesn’t guarantee you a spot.
And two years ago, the press was suggesting to drop Harris in favor of any one of several rising stars in the party who could get elected after the next term.
