Why don't you totally miss the point? Oh, I see you already did!

I'm asking you where your line is. How much flesh is too much on a kids show? It's obviously not the same for everyone. My point is, why is something like this necessary at all. If it was such a non-issue the producers wouldn't have pulled the show.
And that is my question as well. Katy looked cute, and the segment was adorable. But I don't see the point in her wearing that skimpy dress on a little kid's show. She'd have been just as cute with her boobs covered up. Maybe not to men, but the show isn't for them, it's for little kids.
And this is a valid point. Where does the line get drawn? Because it used to be drawn a hell of a lot further back than it is these days.
I see it as Parents pushing their morals onto others by pressuring Sesame Street.
And It was a fugly dress
Actually, if they had invited her on the show, it means they've seen her acts and costumes, and had no issue with it. Now if she'd sung "I kissed a girl and I liked it" we could worry about subliminal subversion of toddlers.
Katy Perry is not the first "controversial" guest on the show and she won't be the last. At least they didn't bring on her fiance Russell Brandt.![]()
Did she bring her own outfit to wear or did the wardrobe department of Sesame Street provide her with it? Does anyone know for sure?
Ok I just watched it again to see if I missed something. I didn't. In the scene where she's running straight at the camera, they don't even bounce. You mostly see shoulders during the whole video. I already posted where the (my) line is. Obviously your line is higher.I'm asking you where your line is. How much flesh is too much on a kids show? It's obviously not the same for everyone. It's just a wedding veil dear, it can't hurt you.If y'all wanna complain about something complain about the hideous thing on her head.![]()

Why is what necessary? If she had boobs like the ones I posted then I would agree but she doesn't. All I saw was lime green dress whereas it's the color that draws attention. The whole video is based on vivid colors (for kids). It's a cute dress nothing more.

That's besides the point, but given this, you might consider [new] glasses. I noticed bounciness within the first 30 seconds. In the scene where she's running straight at the camera, they don't even bounce.

Care to explain why you have such a big effing obsession with Sesame Street and what parents do and do not want their children to fine "entertaining"??
Inappropriate for Sesame Street.
Elmo seems to like it.

Agreed. She's got a lot of boobage showing in that dress. Too much for the toddler and preschool set to be watching.
Yeah it could lead to childhood obesity, as far as they're concerned those are still milk taps.
