Kayaking McIntosh Run

Has anyone been down the McIntosh run in their kayak or canoes this spring? I was wondering if there are any trees down or other obstacles blocking the stream? Is the sport shop in Solomons still responsible for keeping it clear?

I went all the way to the bay in a canoe a few springs ago. It's tidal so you may have to time your tides. There were a lot of perch in the creek that time of year. There were a few sweepers but all were manageable.

Yes, another kayaker and I went out a month ago to check it and it is clear all the way through, with the usual few stumps to maneuver around.
