Kenny's Flowers

happy to be living
Before my step Mom passed away, I frequently sent her flowers and plants from a florist in upstate NY. My sister was friends with the owner and Cheri always knew who I was when I called to place an order. She and her arrangements were awesome and she always went a step above.
In conversation, she said the grocery and big box stores were hard to compete with and what was keeping her afloat was funerals and weddings.
I will always support small businesses when I can!

I will say the flowers in grocery stores look good. For about 2 days...
Also, if you have a good Florist they WILL make you happy with any "duds"
Roses sometimes don't open. They call them bullets.

Mr Fletcher was my high school Art teacher. He was awesome. Everyone loved him.
Mr. Fletcher was the son of the man who built our house in Esperanza Farms. Fletcher's Flowers did all the floral arrangements for our wedding. Lots of compliments to for them. We were all sad when Mr. Fletcher passed away.

If you're looking for beautiful flowers that last at least a week; try Zimmermans spring through Christmas. Their bouquets are always fuller than the grocery stores, prices are better and sometimes the flowers are mixed with really unusual flowers. From what I've gathered, the flowers come from their own green house, and they have a good reputation for weddings. Don't deliver though. Really worth the trip; their bouquets really have that old-fashioned, wildflower look about them.
