Ketchup ban at Florida restaurant sparks national food debat

I can't stand the taste of under-cooked beef. I also love how Heinz Ketchup complements the taste of my crunchy steak or burger. So I would have no desire to dine at a place that doesn't serve it that way. No big deal.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that A-1 sauce is absolutely disgusting. Why ruin a steak by putting that crap on it?

And what's cool about 'Murica is that you could open a steak house and not have a single bottle of A-1 on the premises, and if I came in wanting A-1 for my ribeye you could tell me to piss up a rope, or I could simply go to Outback and get all the A-1 I want.

I think Fisher Price actually has a plastic steak if you like...

I can't think of a steak house that offers something better my grilled steaks. :yay:

I've mentioned this place before, the Aberdeen in Charlotesville, VA. They serve a real prime rib, not some pre-packaged crap. Served exactly how you asked, in real au jus with fresh grated horseradish. It needs nothing else.

Kilroy's in Springfield is the same way ..... but I will not be going back, they took the 22 oz off the menu , now there is only a 16 oz .. to thin to get cooked properly

That all sounds absolutely amazing and those are reasonable prices that reflect on the ingredients used. I'd pay that money for those burgers, gladly
Just because it's a burger with something a little more special than american cheese, lettuce and tomato does not make the place snooty.

And OMG how could you WANT to put ketchup on truffle fries :yum: that aioli is exactly what they call for.
