Kids at my house

camily

Peace
Kids are always at my house. After school, and all night. If there is a day off (like tomarrow) there is one, if not three spending the night. Tonight I have one. Last weekend 3 both nights. Is this normal? I don't care because it keeps the kids busy and I know where my kids are.
My husband thinks I am the big sucker in the neighborhood. I am cool with it.
What say you?
I'd rather have the kids here, that way I know what my kids are doing.

Sometimes it gets to be annoying to be the one who always has everyone's kids.. but I prefer it because I know where my kids are, what they are doing and I know they are being watched.

I think it's great as long as they're not driving you nuts. I have little patients with other people's kids.

Been there, done that....stop it now....It only gets worse....you will have those kids there every time there is no school....you will be buying $300 worth of groceries only for them to disappear in 2 days....nip it in the bud!

Oh girl, I feel you! I have kids here 24/7! Extra, I mean. I really do like being the "hang out house" because as you said, I always know what is going on. I also love kids and actually enjoy the craziness most of the time. :yay:

I don't much care for OPC but I do like being a "safe" place. My kids aren't even embarrassed. too often

I miss those days.

It was great having a house full of kids, because you could send most of them home later.

Truely I like it. I really don't like OPC but when they are older it is ok. I'm glad they feel comfortable here. I don't put up with BS, but they also know I am ok with anything they need to talk about.
When I drop them off at school (same kids) I say every morning "Don't do drugs, and remember, your body is special, don't let anybody touch it".
It is funny because they joke about me saying it all the time. Yet they know where I stand.

Ok, I have to ask, what is OPC? :dork:

In My Opinion
there are children of whom I was not in attendance during their entry into this world in my living room as I type.

I dont mind.

OPC suck but it's better than your kid hanging out with some "cool" Mom who's off buying them beer and taking her clothes off.

We always had a house full of kids, I'm with you, I'd rather be the safe house for the kids to be at so I know they're ok. :yay:
