Kids' dress-up day draws Christian ire...........

You have to have big enough stones to see yourself eviscerated on the local NBC station for not being "in tune with the wishes of the community" which is code speak for not kissing the ass of a couple freaks who have issue with something that tens of thousands of others don't care about.
Yeah, well, to that I say, "FOX News is the best."

It's not, but I bet the school changes it's policy and makes those kids just sit in a chair and write more math problems out with their cramped hand.

Yeah, I'm sure that will happen. Christians are so famous for kicking the desk and getting their way.

You'll see footbaths in the elementary school restrooms before you will see the school appease some Christian fundie.

If the Christian dudes really want to get Wacky Day banned, they should hook up with the Muslim fundies and get them to take up the cause. Wacky Day would be gone so fast it would make your head spin.

At the same time...

... the schools are very famous for being left. And most lefties don't view education the same way I do.

Hand control of the schools over to me, I bet a lot of leftists would be pizzed off about being told to "go eff themselves." :jet:

They are all to blame.

As long as someone is willing to point a TV camera at a window licker pizzing and moaning about something a sane rational human being would consider "non-issue" we will have to deal with it.

The TV camera is a force multiplier for people with an agenda. Look at the kooks from the Baptist church that protests at funerals and carries signs about God hating fags. If it were not for a TV camera and a willing reporter they would be unknown kooks.

TV News loves drama. If they can get a rating off of it, they'll eat it up.

MSNBC's been in 4th place in the afternoon news charts because they cover Breaking News and the elections. If they took Amy Robach and Contessa Brewer and made them cover stories like this one, they'd move right behind FOX News.

They all suck, imo. They don't ever talk about important stories anymore. Instead, they sit there and speculate about boring crime stories and all day and talk to loud pundits about muchado about nothing.

It's amazing how they tell us about Iraq when there's a bombing, but once the US forces go in there and flush them out, the media is silent. They all have an agenda - and it ain't to inform and educate.

Oh for chrissake.

Why can't people just mind their own business anymore? :duh:
if their kids were the ones being asked to portray the homosexual lifestyle in some sick scheme to bring acceptance through participation, then it is there business.
how come some people cant understand that?

I would not let my daughter take part in any "Im a happy humping homo day"

WTF are you talking about?
What I'm saying is sports reports are the only reporters who are honest anymore.

It's hard to lie about "Here comes Gordon passing Earnhardt on the outside of the racetrack."

Unless, of course, you're Jamie Little, Rusty Wallace, Jerry Punch or Mike Massarro.

Dirty Harry Callahan said it best when paraphrasing Abe Lincoln:

"You can please some of the people some of the time. The rest can go #$%^ themselves."
