Yeah, I lost him the day before my birthday. Had to put him down...cancer. It's okay, I guess you didn't know.
No, I didn't know. :huggy:

Hi Geek,

Thanks for caring about this kitty. I went out and looked for him, but did not find him. I'm with the St. Mary's Animal Welfare League, and hoped to get him in out of the cold tonight. If you spot him again and can catch him, you can email me and I'll help you. trailsendpetsitting@att.net Hopefully someone has already rescued the little fella.

Hey, the kitty was small, black and white I would put it under a year old. It would come out and meow and then run under the shed when I came near. I put a good bunch of meat under the red shed and it would only come out to eat when I walked away. I gave it enough for a dinner but it is so cold out. I can't think of anything else to do. People were looking at me funny as I was talking to the back of the shed. I hated leaving it there. I felt like if I had more time and a warm coat with me maybe I could have got him.
Thanks so much Bardinmd , I went to petco after to see if there was any rescue groups there, but no luck, I will look again tomorrow and bring some milk and food, at least I can try and feed him until someone can catch him.

Great idea Geek, cats usually come back for food at the place where they last ate some. Consider a toy to take along too.

The toy is a great idea...I went this morning, no sign of him :ohwell: I left some food. I have an out of state funeral this weekend so I won't be able to go back until Tuesday.

A toy? For a stray cat? wth is it going to do with it? Carry it around from shed to shed? That's like giving an entertainment center to a homeless dude.

No, I can't say that I did. ;-) However, I will say that it's refreshing to see people that care on this forum. Compassion seems to be at an all time low on these forums it seems.
