My cat thinks that every time I walk into the bathroom that it is an open invitation for her to get in the sink for a drink. Do they make Cat water fountains that keep the water running for her. I have heard that Cats prefer running water.

There is a twist..She can not have plastic. I had to switch her to all ceramic bowls due to the fact my vet says she is allergic to plastic. She gets sores on her mouth if she has used plastic.

TIA!!!!!

We have a cat fountain, but it is plastic. :ohwell: They didn't get as much of a kick out of it as I thought, but when do they ever? We bought it at Petsmart...I haven't seen one that isn't plastic, but I'm sure you can find one.

I will have to look. They also have those decorative fountains that have the stones in them. I thought one of those could work as well if i can't find an animal specific one.

01-11-2007 08:19 PM cats are worthless and should be skinned alive, go buy a dog bonehead.

This was uncalled for....I would love a dog but my yard and house are too small and it is unfair to the dog. So go skin yourself.

And at least leave your name if you are going to give bad Karma

My one cat had the same problem.....her lip swelled up and the poor thing looked like she was doing an Elvis impersonation. :lmao:

My sister has a cat water fountain. She claims her cat won't drink unless the water is moving. Given a few days with only still water, I'm sure he'd drink it.

Mine do the same thing. In fact, they usually run past me into the bathroom and wait for me by the sink.

Yes, they do prefer running water and they do make kitty water fountains but I've only seen the plastic ones. My kitties loved theirs but it was a pain in the butt to clean and then started to leak water so out it went.
