KKK Remembered

"Let's Keep America American" (M. Romney)
What this means to me: You are either an American citizen or you are temporarily visiting America... there is no such thing as claiming to be a citizen of our country if you are not actually an American citizen.

I know it's futile to ask you to elaborate, but I'm curious how you get KKK out of that statement?

It's one of their original slogans.

"Let's Keep America American" (M. Romney)

Context??

What were the previous sentences and successor sentences, and how did they relate to the KKK, and racism, or did they?

I think it means, we're not "African American", we're not "Italian American" nor are we "Jewish American" or "Muslim American"..

First and foremost you SHOULD be an AMERICAN.

If racism doesn't exist we certainly shouldn't be classifying ourselved by what race of American we are, Should we?

This seems to fly in the face of what the KKK stood for, but maybe I'm wrong..

NHBOY, want to try to see if you can prove my opinion wrong?

"Let's Keep America American" (M. Romney)

Twice now (once during this campaign and once during the last campaign) Mitt Romney has uttered the expression, "Keep America America". A subtle, but important difference (America rather than American) in that he was not in any way referring to the make up of people in the country, but rather he was referring to preserving the traditional American political (and economic) policy agenda. This distinction becomes clear if you take his words in context to the topics that was being engaged.

Seems not only did you take him out of context but you misquoted him too..

Awaiting your apology to Mitt.
