It just federal workers on base but contractors as well. Going to be interesting watching this play out especially with the companies outside the gate.

Yours is pretty big. I think mine is still considered small. TPTB have yet to put anything out about COVID, other than be prudent if you feel sick and continue to telework.

How can they change the terms of your employment? If you refuse the jab and they fire you then you should be able to sue for unlawful termination. When you signed up I am sure there was nothing about receiving illegally mandated inoculations. F them all. When will they bring in the National Guard to enforce unconstitutional mandates? I will not comply.

That's too bad. I have 2 girlfriends that work for United as airplane mechanics out of SFO since the mid 80's. I haven't asked them if they plan on complying or retire.

I feel for the females in their 20s/30s such as my daughter who are gonna have to make this decision when we don’t yet know the long term affects on fertility. Though I guess males in this same age group could be affected as well with sperm counts. However, as long as my daughter is working for me, there will be no vaccine mandates, even if I had more than 100 employees. Come on Dr Mean Girl and try to close me!

That frightens me, too. I'm beyond child bearing years. Not my daughter and niece.

We are at a turning point, that's for sure. Will we stay free Americans or fall to Marxism?

I try to remember that our government has been ****ing us since government was invented, and there have been a number of highly alarming historical periods in this country, and We the People prevailed. But this is the first truly frightening government oppression I've ever personally witnessed, so I'm quite disturbed. Intellectually I know that humans are largely emotion based idiots and very few have the power of rational thinking, but this is the first time I've seen that played out as well. I've known since high school that the media rules us, but I've never seen them wield their power like this.

What I do know is that I'd rather be dead than live under tyranny. I hear all those morons who live in some shithole talking about soldiers coming in to rape their daughters - I'd rather be dead than live like that.

Just reminder of the bigger picture:
For the most of human history, we lived under tyranny — either permanent one of rulers, or temporary tyranny of a band of raiders who came over the hill and took over your farm while you were scratching the ground with a stick trying to grow food.
All our ancestors were worried about soldiers coming to rape their daughters, with all of us being a result of those activities, somewhere down the line, for millennia. (BTW, you just called your ancestors morons).
The strength of the human spirit is in having it happen to you, picking yourself up, wiping off blood and tears, and continuing to live. Build anew, raise children, and hope to make their world just a little bit better.

I'm very grateful I do not have to work anymore. Just stress that no one needs, and I too feel for everyone who is caught in the middle of all this.
