Know anyone quitting over the Federal Employee vaccine mandate?

One of my neighbors is a government worker on the base. He has told me that this has been brought up several times in discussions with the higher-ups. Apparently it is just brushed off or the topic is changed so that it does not have to be addressed. I think that people who were so essential to the cause should be paid more. After all how much money are the people who "worked from home" saving on gas money, vehicle wear and tear, and in some cases child care?
I'm not dropping it.

Also how many were actually working? I called a few that I needed to come in and got complaints they were painting, installing new flooring, one was sleeping....

Pretty sure that this, just like anything really, will come down to money. Anything and everything will come down to the fact that the government just will not spend that kind of money to compensate essential workers. Lots of money to be saved by NOT offering hazardous duty pay.

Just thought of something, since I was required to be in work because I was mission critical do they owe me hazardous duty pay for the last year?
If you look at Appendix A to 5 CFR Part 500 (Hazard Pay) the closest category to receive pay differential is "Exposure to Hazardous Agents, work with or in close proximity to:
(5) Virulent biologicals. Materials of micro-organic nature which when introduced into the body are likely to cause serious disease or fatality and for which protective devices do not afford complete protection ".
If you worked with the "agent", or in close proximity to it, you could be paid the differential, but simply working where you might be exposed to an illness from a coworker more than likely would not apply.

When I spent time on the carrier as a CS, I received hazardous duty pay for working on the flight deck.

Thanks for that.

Also basing it on a few other things such as not following the protocol and improper PPE being provided.

Do you have a job?
I do have a career, work remotely from home, and I'm fully vaccinated. I'd rather be called a sheep than buried 6-feet under because of stupidity. There are a lot of dead people who earned the Darwin Award by refusing the vaccine and masks.

I will never be shamed into putting my life on the line because of conspiracy theorists like you.

I made sure to get the letter from the PSD on the carrier before I left.
I didn't get it back until after I filed my taxes.

Breaking news…. There are a lot of dead people who got the vaccine and wore masks.

My boss keeps mumbling about how he won't get the jab and will dare them to fire him.

He's kind of indispensable, so I'm concerned how it will play out, since I am likely to be urged to take over his job, and I have no desire to do that.

He's under the impression it will get tossed before the deadline - and I am thinking otherwise.
