Jenn just posted this in the Volunteer Announcements. Since the fair is this weekend, I'm taking the liberty of posting it here in case there is anyone who wants to help out for a good cause.


Team in Training - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Team in Training, an organized fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, has gotten last-minute permission to perform a face painting fundraiser at the St. Mary's County Fair. Their planned face painter dropped out and they would like one provided. We are searching for any talented folks to help paint faces or just help with booth coverage. I just got finished painting the inside of my house, am I qualified. I was better with the roller.

Don't even think about it. When I hired you to do face painting at M's last birthday party, all you did was paint 'X' on some faces and 'O' on the others and told them to go play human Tic-Tac-Toe while you headed off to the snack table. :mad:

it kept them busy for hours though, admit it.:mad:

I did it 13 years ago when I was in Theatre. I'm not sure how good I would be at it now, but I'm willing to give it a shot!

You are supposed to contact the person that posted the ad if you are interested.

I would definitely paint some faces..I am crafty like that!! Give me some paintbrushes glitter and a few sequins!! :)
