Koons Ford in Annapolis?

I am looking for a new car and found a "good" deal online of a car being sold used at Koons Ford. Now the price looks very nice, and I'm sure the car actually exists, but I wanted to see what others thought of Koons Ford(car itself isn't a ford, though) and found some pretty low reviews of how Koons works in general.

Anyone in here have any input on buying from them? I would rather not go through mega hassle and would like to just avoid them entirely if they're never up to any good. I'm NOT concerned with using them as a repair place after acquiring the car, so I'm just really looking for any buying experiences.

Thanks for any info!

We're all mad here.
When I was searching for a car online....

...I found one on the Koons of Annapolis website that I liked a lot. I drove up to Annapolis from Lusby to test drive the car and received a clean Carfax report. I was very close to buying the vehicle (even after the dealer refused to negotiate the selling price), but he added on a ton of other different charges to the selling price and my boyfriend and I ended up walking out.

Supposedly, the listed selling price of the vehicle did not include a fee of $800 for a MD State Inspection. Yes, I checked-- it was NOT tax or title. I was shocked. By the time I was done, an 8k used car turned into close to 11k. I thought that there may have been a misunderstanding as a MD State Inspection shouldn't even cost close to $800, but the dealer insisted the $800 was going to towards that. I've never had this experience with another car dealer and I've always believed that used cars were inspected before going up for sale on a dealer's lot.

I'm sure you'll get mixed reviews, but this was just my bad experience.

Before making the drive up to Annapolis (or elsewhere) I would call the dealer to be sure they still have the car you are looking at on the internet. Recently when new car shopping, I found that the dealers are very slow to update their inventory on their websites.

They're OK

I bought a car from them. As has been noted, these folks don't know how to negotiate. The price is the price. That said, I wouldn't buy another car there only because I can't stomach Krystal Koons in those horrible commercials. She doesn't "wow ya" at all.

Used to work across the street from them. I would never go there....talked to them when we were looking for my truck, and they were awful. Rude and obnoxious.
