labradoodle needs a home

I have a mutt. She looks like a Jack Russell Terrier, but I am pretty sure she is mixed with high octane fuel somewhere along the line.

Good luck NP! It took me a while to find our perfect dog addition, and I felt like giving up hope, but then she appeared!

I have 4 mutts myself and 2 pup mutts I am fostering... I didn't mean anything bad towards Nanny Pam! She is looking for what she wants... but labradoodles are mutts! Peeps get over it, they just are! They are a mix of more than one breed. :buddies:

Ok, I don't mean to be a doggie downer in this tread, nor burst any designer doggie bubbles for you that believe in such dogs. But they are all mutts peeps!!!! :buddies:
Nanny Pam, I know you have reasons for wanting what you do and if it works for you great! :yahoo: I hope you find what you are looking for! :huggy:

Calling a labradoodle a breed is crazy...

F1 = Mutt
F1B = Mutt + 1 (with the hope you are getting the right mix)

There is nothing wrong with mutts! Just call it like it is and stop the insanity of designer mutt dogs. :cds:

OK I'm done venting!!!! :buddies:

Very well put Loper. Mixing 2 breeds and giving it name is insane. People paying 1200 or more is even worse.
Given the number of dogs in shelters, the fact that people actually breed Designer Mutts is just unbelievable.

R.I.P. Bobo, We miss you!
Well...I guess I'm out. I emailed her and she answered me and sent the most precious picture. But I asked her (for sure) if he was an F1 or an F1b, explaining that I needed the F1b. I heard nothing back so I'm guessing he's an F1. CRAP~!

:bawl: I'm ready to give up.

:frown: :sadnessinmyheart:

Sorry it didn't work out.

I can be picky, you smart ass nosy somebody.

and FYI there is an F1 goldendoodle down the street, and he sheds. so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

So...OK...I just e-mailed her again. Maybe he doesn't shed much.

and like i said, if you want a free dog you cant be so F1B picky, besides, it was mentioned several times that he is a labXpoodle NOT an F1B. If you think you really need a specific breed pony up the bucks like everybody else does....

BTW, the choice in breed (or mutt) is a good one, you just want to make sure you aren't picking up a dog with hidden issues if he is being given away.

Seriously, good luck with that.

What exactly IS an F1B
A Labradoodle crossed with either a poodle? Or a Lab? The labradoodle ex labradoodle crosses just look like standard poodles. The mutation isn't the same in these, as if you continue crossing lab with poodle.

I think parti-doodles are ADORABLE. They're a parti-colored poodle ex Lab. I'm tempted to get one myself, they're so darn cute. Like i need another dog... :ohwell: Several groomer friends say they haven't met one they didn't like and that's saying something.

Good luck NP, can you post pix of the one you have?

The F1B is a labXpoodle bred with a poodle. So, the result is 3/4ths poodle and 1/4 lab.

havoc is havoc
one of our 4H kids has a 1 yr old male (1st generation) ladradoodle they need to place. he became a handful for Alli ( she is a small 11 yr old) "Jack" is approaching 65 lbs....he came to my farm for a 2 week boot camp in the summer and was doing much better, but now alli is not working with him at all. he lives in a large outdoor pen with access to a barn .so they have decided to look for a home. he was crate trained as a pup ...never in the house.this dog is VERY smart. he knows how to walk on a leash, sit when you stop. heel, come , stay , give paw .....he is energetic. if anyone knows of a good home the owners name is Dana Plater(mom) and her email is danaplater@comcast.net

Ok... I really don't give a rats behind what kind of a designer dog someone wants. Lets get back to there is a dog in need of a good home. Let's get him a home first then carry on with the rest. Just a thought

Thanks. So it is basically a standard poodle with minor variations due to a tiny bit of lab influence.

Why is that particular cross so important and why not just buy a standard poodle instead? They are super smart and don't shed either.

Although i have to admit, labradoodles are super-cute.
