Laminate Flooring

I just got a quote from Clark's Flooring to install Laminate flooring. I had use them in the past. I was floored !(no pun intended) It was incredibly high. Though I wanted to stay with a local small businesss, I know I will not use them not from what they quoted me. I had a few friends that said that cost was a lot for the size area I am working with. Roughly 350 sq ft. Any one have a person they have worked with that I can get a quote from? What kind of price do you think would be fair per sq ft. installed?

we went with griffin's for our laminate and carpet. we went with fairly inexpensive stuff and it worked out to about $4-5 per sq ft. including installation

I figured about 6 to 7 a square ft. So they were pretty high. I will check with Griffins. I just prefer to have someone do it. I know I would save doing it myself. But its not an option.

I own rgcarpentry for me to install it costs $1.50 a sq ft for installation only. If interested in getting an estimate contact me back.

I have heard good things and seen some work done by Porter and Porter. I think the owners name is James Porter. I'm thinking he is out of ridge. No idea on contact info though.
