What's the disability?

There is still a requriement for the Gov to hire the disabled, maybe you're looking in the wrong places?

Degree: Bacholer Science Degree in Management Studies from UMUC

Disability: Hearing Loss/Deaf since birth

I am not looking in wrong places. I know and met EEO staff at Pax River, and know almost all deaf employees that work at Pax River base. I also know quite few people that work for Government and most of them do not have hiring power.

For your information, I had four or five job interviews with Pax River in last five years, and didn't get any offers. I also applied for Internship program (Logistics, Finanical, and Contracting) and didn't get the job offer (yes, they did interviewed me). I attended all job fairs relating to Federal Government jobs and all of them said I have very impressive resume and stuff. I still don't know why they haven't call me for the job. :shrug:

I know it is not me at all because I followed all the rules on how to land a job (dress professional, clean apperances, etc.)

You would think a degree and a disability on top of this you would be a shoe-in. I just don't get it... someone in here should know someone to get some answers for her on Pax... :shrug:

Ask your friends if they have a copy of ERD Commander. That will allow you to boot from a cd and you can do a system restore from before your hubby blew up your laptop.

"borrow" a dell oem cd/dvd, reinstall OS (get your important data first, though you can still get it after format, though not as easy). when you find/if you find your OEM cd, then use that to reinstall OS. laptops + games dont mix, specially 3d mmorpgs. you cant upgrade a laptop video card, and they cant touch desktop performance. those games take huge toll on your system, video/cpu/hd/memory/internet, 4 of those categories are already subpar on laptops. ie playing WoW on 10krpm raid0 raptors >>> 5400rpm laptop drive.
