yeah yeah
Are you sure? I was willing to trade you a playmate for your daughter. My almost 3 year old would love to be trading for some scrapbooking.

Haha nah! I like doing it. So its not something that needs payment. And I will take you up on the playmate. Trust me. Lindey would love it.

I have a drawer full of crap that eventually needs to find it's way into a book. I find anything and everything with their names on it and save it.

I bought large plastic bins (one for each kid) and label them "Day-care thru Pre-K", "Kindergarten", "1st grade", "2nd grade", etc. I just put all their stuff in there as they bring it home so it's all together. I also put "lost teeth" in there, sports certificates, etc. Basically anything worth keeping for memories. My 5 yr old is so excited that his first bin is filled and we can go buy a new one for Kindergarten.

At the end of first grade my son came home with his backpack filled with all the stuff from his desk and as I was looking through one of his composition notebooks the first ten pages all said "I miss my mommy" and "I rele miss my mommy" :bawl: it broke my heart but after he got use to the class and his teacher I guess he got over me  I need to figure out how to put that in a scrapbook, I guess I can just cut a few of them out

That's why I decided to use the bins. I just kept the whole notebook. :yay: My oldest has been independent since the day he came outta me. My youngest goes back and forth as to whether or not he "needs" me. He was fine with Pre-K so I'm not worried about Kindergarten. Plus his big brother will be on the bus with him too. Different schools but same bus. I think I'll have the problem the first day he gets on the bus for Kindergarten. I'll be a mess. He's my baby..... my last little baby.........:bawl: Anyways, the second day, I'll be back at work and it's back on Dad's shoulders to get them off to school on time.

the bins are a great idea but that would take up a lot of space, but I am not the type to keep every piece of artwork my kids bring home but I do save awards, yearbooks and such. I even kept my sons arm cast from when he broke his arm at 2.

I stuck them up on the shelf in their closet. Trust me, I throw out more than I keep. I'm mean like that! I also save awards and yearbooks. No casts yet but I'm sure I'd save that too. I did save my son's "baby" which was a Beanie Baby Chicky which he took EVERYWHERE for years. Poor thing had food, dirt, blood, etc on her but he loved her. I put her in a plastic bag and put her in the bin when he finally gave her up.

Been Trying To Find A Ladies/mom Group...no Luck Yet....thanks

:faint:

There is way too much going on here.....

Is there a way we can workout while learning Spanish and scrapbook at the same time? The kids can play during all of this. I mean, I just don't have a lot of time and am really good at multi tasking.

Start by getting together and do some scissoring while yelling "Tijeras me , o si , tijeras me bueno!" :huggy:

My Mom was recently cleaning out a very old filing cabinet. She brought old school work, journals, pics, etc for my brother & I that my parents had saved throughout the years to my house when she came to visit. When my brother came to visit a few weeks later, we had so many laughs reading all the stuff we had written. There were even homeade father's day cards for my Dad, who had recently passed away. We had a great night, lots of laughs and good memories. Hubby and my brother's girlfriend got a kick out of it too!
