Lee Zeldin on impeachment: 'Adam Schiff really does think that many Americans are idiots'

"The people who are pushing for impeachment have been pushing for impeachment since Donald Trump was elected -- since he was getting sworn into office," Zeldin told Fox News' Eric Shawn. "Adam Schiff really does think that many Americans are idiots.

"If you remember March 22nd, 2017, he goes on another network, and he says that he has more than circumstantial evidence that President Trump colluded with the Russians. This is evidence that he hasn't yet produced, [that] I haven't seen, [former Special Counsel Robert] Mueller couldn't find," he continued. "He made up what he called a parody version of the [July 25] call transcript, but he only said that after he got called out."

Schiff had attempted to clarify in September, "Of course, the president never said, 'If you don't understand me, I'm going to say it seven more times.' My point is, that's the message that the Ukraine president was receiving in not so many words."

"Adam Schiff really does think that many Americans are idiots.

That's only partially correct..it's the whole Dem party that thinks that. Always remember, they like to refer to conservatives as "a basket of deplorables."

What's really sad is the fact that many, many folks are so detached from politics and what's going on in Washington, that all it takes is something like Schiff's embellishment and they're off to the races. I mean, just look at sappy and the way he's under their control 100% all in. You can tell by his posts that he's not a complete idiot, but when it comes to substance, he just parrots the BS told by "news" reporters and facts be damned! To hell with using your brain to discern fact from fairy tales. It's easier to trust the media to report the truth. I just hope that this "impeachment" fiasco has opened a few more eyes to the corruptness of our government and that people take the time to get out to the polls come election day.

I'd also like to see 4 more years for Trump. I really think that a lot of heads are gonna roll from previous administrations and their corruptness. Washington is passed due to be flushed of career politicians and the disdain they hold for the average US citizen. Term limits and a more reasonable salary and benefits package are in order. Make it so people get elected to do the work of the people, then get the **** out of Dodge. It's also passed time for politicians who are in it just to enrich themselves. No one should amass a fortune being in congress. It just opens the door to graft.

Agree with term limits, I would make them all 6 yrs with the senate/house rotating elections every 2 yrs with 1/3 of states holding their senate/rep elections so as to keep continuity. I'd also have 2 VPs, one from each party involved in all presidential funcitions to keep the President's party honest. Wouldn't matter to me if the Prez was a 6 or 8 yr term, just want to eliminate the last 1.5 yrs of a first term being spent campaigning. Probably a lot of holes in my suggestion but I definitely want to eliminate career senators or reps, it's fairly obvious to me after a few terms, they are more about the party/money than the people.

Many Americans ARE idiots. Look at all these crazy progs and moronic celebrities spewing nonsense. Adam Schiff is probably looking at his own district and going, "Yeah, buncha ****ing idiots...."
