Son and grandsons have quite the hobby going here. They get into scraps about following directions & leaving them alone vs build your own thing, but mostly they just enjoy playing together.

I got out my big tub of Legos from my sons' youth, and all the instruction books. I've been amazed that I can gather all the blocks to build the sets, missing none!

My son says they knew I'd never buy them another set, and fuss at them FOREVER, if they lost any pieces.

Now he's grateful to have those complete sets.

And I bite my tongue to not say "Told you so".

Legos, Duplos, Hot Wheels and Thomas tracks. Any age kid who comes to the house can occupy themselves for however long.

Wish I hadn't thrown away the Harry Potter stuff - they cost a vast fortune now. :(
