Lennie and Milo

Leonardo D'angelico Vespoochie is 15 pounds of the most wonderful rescue from Tri-County I've ever seen. He is bright, he is a lover, and he believes he has a job here.

Milo, named after the dog in "The Mask," is an awesome jumper and a bit hard to train. He is something like 7 years Lenny's junior.

Milo is very probably a Jack Russell mix. Lenny, who outweighs Milo by a few pounds, is maybe a different mix, but was described as a Jack Russel-Chihuahua mix. Both dogs are delightful.

I adopted my girl from the animal shelter 18 years ago. She was 8 weeks old. She has been the best dog I've ever owned. She is a shepard mix and has helped raise two granddaughters, been my shoulder to cry on when I buried my parents and the source of so much love and happiness,I couldnt imagine my life without her. Enjoy Lennie and Milo and may you have many happy years with them

Yep, she's 18. She has slowed down quite a bit, her hearing isnt very good and her eyesight is starting to go, but she still has her appetite and loves her snacks. Vet said she was in suprisingly good health for her age. My daughter swears the old girl will outlive all of us. LOL.

That is sooo sweet. My friend's dog lived to nearly 20 yrs old, and she was pretty content up 'til the very end.
I have a little dog that is the sweetest thing, and I totally understand the deep feelings of genuine love. We brought her home as a puppy and celebrate every birthday with a party, I can't imagine not having her. Oprah had a show on OWN (LifeClass) recently about the love we receive from our pets, and it was really interesting stuff....dogs can bring great healing to people, emotionally, too. Gotta love our furry family members!

I know, its amazing how much you depend on them without realizing it. I just cant imagine walking in the door after a stressful day at work and not seeing her smiling face waiting for me. Anyone who has a four legged member of the family understands what I'm saying. :yahoo:
