I'd love to go to the sale this year... I wasn't able to in the Fall. Thanks for the heads up! Are you volunteering?
Yup...
I looked at the schedule - Was going to try to get 3 hours in but I just can't commit to it yet
Maybe I'll see ya there
Just got the flyers to distribute
Hope to see you all there
I think they are all booked up... I volunteer for the same thing every year so she just saves that block for me.
I love to shop at LL
So how does this work? Do different people have their own tables, or are all the clothes sorted and grouped together? We might come down. Are the prices really good? We have a consignment shop here, and you might as well go buy the item from the store because they charge almost as much.
It is like one BIG YARD SALE you have ever seen! No one have tables of thier own. All of the clothes are sorted and grouped together with your ID number tagged on it. If the items are not sold, you are able to pick them up by checking for your ID tag number. It is pretty EASY!
Yes, the prices are really good! I bought alot of clothes there that have retailer stores' tag still on it for $1.00! I found one outfit which had a retailer tag on it said $50, but sold it for $1.00.
The Consignment is only happens twice a year, so that way no one have to pay for store rent, electricity, etc.
Good deal! We'll probably head down.
I would. I literally got Ireland's entire summer wardrobe there last year for a total of 50 bucks. Things are priced anywhere from 50 cents to whatever depending on what you are looking for. They have every size, even maternity and sizes up to 12 or 16 for kids. They also have cribs, strollers, every toy you can think of, shoes, socks, decor, etc. It is pretty amazing.
And when you volunteer, you get to go in early before the public!
Ok, one last question. Do you think it's important to get there on Friday when they open? Will there be a lot left on Saturday?
Sorry, that was 2 questions.
