You know, good luck with that. If people are going to get so pissed off just by driving, they need to stay their ass home and beat their wife or something.

All of you people who took up for the biker thugs who beat that guy in front of his wife and child? Seriously, I would have every single one of you put to death.

You are a menace and a big part of the reason we are so uncivilized and ugly in this country. Anyone who thinks beating or killing someone - or even getting anything more than annoyed - is an appropriate reaction to a minor inconvenience needs to be beaten or die themselves.

You should praise God every day and thank Him that I do not run this country.

One person at a time, bet at least one or two people out there have not even considered there is a way to make these merges better....... so many don't realize that the application of real thought into the dynamics of driving can make not just other peoples, but your own driving experience so much better.

Finally got to shadow the daughter down 235 in medium traffic the other day from about 10 car lengths back. She's been driving for about 2 years now. Her traffic management was great. Never once did she impede any other driver or impinge on anyone's safety space, but she still managed to move ahead in traffic. I could tell she was fully engaged and working the traffic, not off in la-la land.

For some reason the people that think "Lane Ends, Merge in 1000 Feet" means merge now are the same ones that think you should wait till the last minute to get over into the right turn lane

Yeah, well, if your numb nut Ranger Rover dude had looked at that web page before hand and kept proper spacing, even when, especially when cut off, in other words, done it right, instead of wrong, he'd have never been part of the problem.

Only place I've ever seen that 'zipper merge' practice in place was VA Beach when we lived there 2000-2004. Not sure it'd work here, there's some rather 'special' drivers in this area. A while back I asked my 14 yr old son 'You looking forward to driving in a few years?' and his response was, 'Not here'

It works as much as people let it work. Do it yourself, teach your son to do it, and your spouse, and anyone else you can lure into talking about it.
