Let's Pray for the Animals

I agree with your remark on the way our commissioners conduct business. All new business development has low end and low paying jobs which means the people that work in these jobs either still live at home or commute from other areas. The higher paying jobs are not in our county and therefore peolple commute out making traffic in both directions a mess. One thing that we do not need is ANOTHER mall and their latest project is the new development on 228 which is supposed to be affordable housing for young professionals. Where do the work, not in Waldorf. They will just be more commuters on the road going somewhere else to work. Remember this at election time, because all of these people have to be elected even if they are taking developers money(check public records). Let's clean them all out and maybe we can get some qualified people in there before we do not any county left to develop. Let's take Calvert county's lead and restrict new develpoment to something that makes since. If you have lived in the county for any period of time you have watched you property taxes rise dramaticly along with water and sewer bills because someone has to pay for all this additional malls etc. Remember VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! They will not listen any other way. Just remember who they listen to and it is not the citizens of this county.
