Liberals got what they wanted, are now mad

Story of Interest: CNN is reporting a group of individuals are tearing down the barriers at the WWII monument in DC, protesting the Governments shut down that has closed all federal memorials. No word on arrests. Clearly a sign of frustration citizens are feeling over this shut down.

Conservatives dont normally act in this manner, so I must assume that it is the freeloading liberals doing this.

my question is why?
they voted for liberals, liberals refuse to negotiate, liberals shut down the government,, now liberals are mad that the liberals they voted for are acting like liberals??

I merely used his word freeloading and pointed out to him that it was not liberals; it was veterans (or possibly liberal veterans). He didn't bother to check the story before he made his assumption.

Reread post number one and the first mention of "veterans" and "freeloading" shows up immediately below post number 1 in what is now post number 2. Was there a post that got deleted between post number one and post number 2?

I’m rushing this post out because, per Ed’s stellar round-up from earlier this morning, the Honor Flight vets are headed to the Memorial regardless. Members of Congress, among them Michele Bachmann, are already there, as are reporters of all stripes. If you use Twitter, I recommend following the Standard’s John McCormack, National Review’s Betsy Woodruff, and the Examiner’s Charlie Spiering, who took the photo I used for our front-page thumbnail of the feds actually deploying forklifts to set up gates around a memorial that’s open 24 hours a day with little supervision under normal circumstances. As I write this at a few minutes after 10:30 ET, Spiering is tweeting that the vets are scheduled to arrive within the next 15 minutes. Is your government really about to arrest 96-year-olds who fought at Guadalcanal because this bit of sub-moronic shutdown theater is too precious to them to forfeit? Stay tuned.
