Lighthouse Restaurant on Solomons

It's going to be much bigger than people think, with all the decks and being two stories.

They said they're hoping for a January 2014 opening.

Went by there yesterday and that place in going to be huge... When you are coming out by Tiki you can really see just how big it's gonna be.. Ate at Clarkes Landing and I still think they have the bestest seafood around.. JMHO. Got Crab Imperial and it was great as usual.

Forgive me, I didn't read this whole thread, but will it be the people from Clarke's Landing that are running the new place? If not, who?

Yes, it will be. They bought the old Lighthouse Inn property and will be moving their business there.

Yes, it will be humongous with lots of deck space overlooking the harbor. They posted updated pictures of the construction in the last week or so and it was close to being under roof then.

Hmmmm, company always has an employee recognition event there, hope it moves to the new place, but how will they have anything remotely resembling enough parking

Used to love the original Lighthouse Inn, glad to see a new business opening in that location, look forward to trying it. Always has been a beautiful view there.

We got there about 11:15 and the hostess had numerous calls and I heard her say they were pretty much booked from 5 to7. Nick told us to go ahead and seat outselves.
