Don't make a mess
I said NO
I said stop
Don't be mean
Take a nap

I know you're right, and I remind myself ALL THE TIME how everyone says the time flies so I try to embrace EVERYTHING....but, I actually said OUT LOUD at work last week "I go bye, bye" and "I'm go to the potty"

Might not be worth much to you now...but you are repeating those phrases so your child when all grown up won't spend adulthood repeating these phrases:

"Would you like fries with that?"

"Is that for here or to go?"

"I live with my parents."

"What seems to be the problem officer?"

Might not be worth much to you now...but you are repeating those phrases so your child when all grown up won't spend adulthood repeating these phrases:

"Would you like fries with that?"

"Is that for here or to go?"

"I live with my parents."

"What seems to be the problem officer?"

When I ask him to do something, or to stop doing something, I always say please. After that...which is the norm., it's more so not ASKING, it's DO IT... he's only 2... I'm trying for him to get manners as well as discipline. I'd really like him to learn the "yes ma'am/sir" thing.

And the time stood still....waiting....for him to get home, and hoping she forgot to tell him !!! I used to get that when I fell asleep in church...."you're going to get it when we get home" and it was a horrible time waiting.
