ok i am the coach/manager of my sons little league..
i must say we have had an awesome season. these kids age 6-8 hit a ball coming at them at 38 mph.
ok to the point, none of these kids have played machine pitch ever, we finished the season in third place ,
we are now in the playoffs, started yesterday, we won our first game 11-2. 
we play again tuesday, for those who care, i will keep ya posted.

Machine pitch? How cool. Guess it's a lot better then when I was growing up and could sling a ball pretty hard for an 8 year old. I remember winning a game once by forfiet after beaning all their players and none of them would come to the plate again. First game I ever won (and while losing 6 to nothing in the first). Nothing intentional, mind you, just a little control problem. 
but hey there is always next year. we finished the season
