Live Christmas trees, any for sale by charities

We like to purchase a live Christmas tree each year, but for the past few years have had to buy from commercial outlets.

A few years back every fire department used to have a live tree sale, but with the bigger stores (Lowes, Wal-Mart, etc) all selling them, the small, non-profit groups could not compete and quit sponsoring the tree sales.

Does anyone know of a non-profit organization in St. Mary's County that still sells trees? I would much rather give my money to a Boy Scout troop, fire department or other civic organization than to Wal-Mart or Lowes.

There are usually lots of trees for sale in Mechanicsville by the Optimist Club and Lion's Club.

The Center for Life Enrichment in Hollywood sells beautiful trees! And they're fairly cheap, too.

Try the firedepartment on 227 in bryans road. I always get my humongeous LIVE trees there and it's about the cheapest around and the quality is the best around

We bought ours there on Saturday and it is a BEAUTIFUL TREE. almost 11 footer and was only $45.00. Money going to a good cause also.

Hard to miss it while driving though Mechanicsville.

Oh the big commission place hooks and hangers next to the flea market in C-H has a bunch of nice fake ones in there too for very reasonable prices if anyone knows of someone in need.

Umm, I don't remember the specific names of trees they had, but they had several types.
