I watched the whole thing and all I saw was Kevin saying they were going to LA...I never saw the group perform. Did anyone see them play?

I watched all but the first ten minutes and didn't see a thing. I also saw nothing on the website and even put them in the search engine.

They did not lose. The show that was on last night was featuring some of the auditions. HydraFX is in the competition. 100 bands were chosen. 20 bands will be listed every week on the website. Its an online competition. Once they are listed its voting time!!! We were all at the badfish last night with the band and there was three times were they showed them. (not performing) but a quick flash of them.. :dude:

Just read their bio on their web page. How bitter must their original vocalist be...he was sick one night when they were performing and some random guy jumped up on stage with them...and they kept him. Anyone know the original singer or who he's with now? Unless I'm just missing it, they mention all the other former members except the original lead singer.

Don't try to take their happiness away, this is now. They're a Maryland group trying to make it. Just help them if you want, don't question them. They're young people with a great future and don't need criticism about their personal decisions at this point in their career. Let them enjoy the ride. Unless, of course, you are the former lead singer and want to just wallow in your own self pity.

If my question can "take their happiness away," I don't think they'll do too well if they hit the big time and get criticized by someone in the business. It was a legitimate question, one I'm sure they've been asked before and will be asked again in the future, so don't be so melodramatic. But I do thank you for letting me know that this is now, because I wouldn't have known that otherwise.

All I had to say is, that they got good instrumentation, but the LEAD SINGER is OFF KEY SOMETIMES. At least he isn't using AUTO-TUNE!

hmm

Seriously, i reopened this thread to give information for those who wanted to vote for them....not to start bashing them & bringing up the past which you have no clue about. But I'm sure they are used to critism as they have been playing for as long as they have, these guys are very talented people and good friends.

NO one is perfect, no band will please everybody's taste in music.

Thanks to those who support tho! :)

That's how it works around here. You reopened this thread to give information for those who wanted to vote for them and we start bashing them & bringing up the past which we have no clue about. :jameo: It's one big circle.

They dumped their lead singer like that???!!!!! NO VOTE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!

fyi to everyone, the alleged 'dumping' of the singer happened about 4 years ago and only because he faked having laryngitis to get out of playing a gig, leaving the band in a bind. as it turns out, the band starting jamming with the guitarist singing in his place when someone came up from the crowd to freestyle with them. a couple months later he was in the band and now 4 years later they are on NBC's online competition, Star Tomorrow. no big d, i'd just hate to see them lose votes over this dumbness.

for those of you that don't hate them ;) you can vote for them from now until voting stops this Monday, August 21st at 9pm. Just go to www.startomorrow.com to register and watch their performance. Then vote for HydraFX. Support local music!!

Thank you. Isn't it a pity you have to go to the trouble of explaining something that really isn't anyone's business? People love ragging on other people. As for the a@@ who left me this red: Local band on TV 08-16-2006 09:48 AM shut your hole, they suck almost as much as you Get a life and as to whether or not I suck, is that a dream of yours creep? :buttkick:
