Local Candle Makers

Does anyone know of any candle makers in the area? I looking for someone to pour a custom pillar for me.

I'm restoring a candle stand that I discovered in a local barn. It most likely came out of a church. Unfortunately the stand is designed to accept a 1-3/4" diameter candle. The only places online that I've found that sell 1-3/4" dia candles are church supply stores which sell them by the case.

Did you try the local stores that sell to religous people? You know, places that sell Confirmation gifts, rosaries, fancy bibles, that kind of thing?

But I did find a store online that sells 1 at a time...
Cathedral Candles 1.75 inch from Trilights

I didn't think we had those stores locally anymore. There was one in the McKay's Plaza on GMR but they are not there any longer. I never seem to run across any in my travels around St Mary's.

Thanks for the link! I went about 4-5 pages deep into various Google searches and never ran across that website. :buddies:

There is a place in old Leonardtown Square called Heavenly Presents. They might have something. They are somewhere between Olga's and the mexican restaurant.

If all you want is a simple cylinder candle, make it yourself. You can use cheap candles for the wax, melt them down and pour it into a cylinder shape, like a cardboard tube or something.
