I wonder if people are just leery about early voting in general this time around? I would be, except that I'm going to take Thing1 to early vote today. That's only because it's easier for me to do it after work on a "non-busy" day than to take off on election day and assist him at the Polls, too.

It might be the quality of the people running.

632 Democrat votes… Only counts for three if Republican.
107 voters.. that equals what.. 632 votes??
Funny thing about the Bay District EV site, REPs have out numbered the DEMs at that location. Now there was a lot of party switching before 6/28 so your mileage will vary, but overall, the EV numbers are not encouraging for this primary.

many of the votes this time will decide who wins in November.
Like Fritz and Sterling, but other don't amount to much.

I don't care if Jack the Ripper runs against Steny, whoever it is has my vote

as I often drive through Upper Marlboro, I am struck that one or more of these folks will be elected if they
1) have a gap toothed smile
2) have a D by their name
3) has a made up name like N'abtru"
4) supports O'Bama.

St. Mary's County DEMS pulled all their signs and their tent from the Mechanicsville voting site on Wednesday. The storm that went through on Tuesday night displaced their signs and damaged their tent, so they threw in the towel for Thursday it seems.

I'm surprised they didn't leave the trash there for others to clean up.

Pretty sure it was a local issue spearheaded by Brian Crosby, that ended up being a state mandate.
