Greetings all....
Displaced Jets (not Giants...don't steer me to an abandoned field to be drawn and quartered! ) fan looking for a Direct TV enabled bar/restaurant/establishment where NY Jets fans gather to watch the games each Sunday.

Try Cadillac Jacks on Great Mills Rd. or Brass Rail on 5 near Great Mills Rd. Both have multiple televisions.

There's also Damon's over on RTE 235 in Lexington Park, near the main gate to the NAS, but whether you'll find NYJ fans there, is questionable.

This is mostly Redskin and Ravens territory, with a smattering of Cowboy and Steeler fans in the area.

I have a feeling that every local public TV that is NOT tuned to Ravens or Redskins, is showing the NASCAR Chase to the Cup. I think your best bet locally is the NFL package from DirecTV in your own living room...

That is also good advice. There are probably 2 or 3 places where you can get a satellite system at a decent price, like maybe Sears, RadioShack, and a local retailer, Telethon, on RTE 235 again. Oh yeah, Wal*Mart was selling them too, but they don't install, as far as I know.

Telethon installed my unit about 6 years ago, and I haven't had any problems with it.

I think the price of the NFL Ticket is around $150.00 a season, but don't quote me.

Actually, I think you can just call 1-800-DIRECTV to buy a system. (Actually, I just heard a radio commercial advertising to call that number for their "best package of the year" so check it out!)

Finding Direct TV not the problem...every bar has it. Personally, I've got Dish, and I'm plenty happy with it.

Don't misunderstand...I'm not searching for somewhere to just see the games...am more interested in hanging with fans of the same feather.

Get into the Ravens???? Tsk tsk. I've been a J-E-T-S Jets fan for 30+ years.... it's genetically imprinted and can never be erased!!!!!!
