It is hard to find a traditional parish here. The only one I know that has Traditional Mas is St. Francis in Bryantown. Traditional Mass is the Trideting Mass, in Latin, ad Orientum. Everything esle since the disaster of the Novus Ordo is not traditional. If you are looking for a decent Novus Ordo Mass, it is more liklily that you want an Orthadox Mass. Stay away from St. Peter Claver. As for the hand holding, I used to live in IHM parish and was attacked for not holding hands. I keep my hands tight on my missal. My wife, a bit younger, did not develop the missal habit and she was constantly poked. We wound up moving to Holy Face, no forced hand holding.
But Mass is to be said word for word as written in the Missal. No one has the power to change the Mass but the Pope.
Kyrie Eleison!
