it seems like there aren't nearly as many good names for boys as for girls! any suggestions of where to look for a good list?

We bought the book 50,000 baby names. It helped out.
We got a similar book but we had soo much trouble naming our first son. We knew what his middle name was going to be - After my father - but had trouble on the 1st.
One night we went out to eat @ Outback and I was overdue and the lady asked if we had a name yet and we told her 'no' we were undecided. She goes on to tell us she likes names that can be used for boys and girls and she spewed out a name and I just said THAT'S IT I'd never seen in it any books, although LOTS of kids are named it now. So I hate to say it, but basically our first son was named by a waitress at Outback
Our twins names came pretty easily. The boy twin carries my hubby's father's name. Our daughter is not named after anyone.
Good luck and Congrats

thanks for the advice everyone! the girl was named after 2 of my favorite literary characters, but none of the boys'names that I can think of have really struck a chime for us yet.
