Okay, my bad. I meant christian when I wrote catholic names. I did not say that all priest either, I said some. just trying to save you the trouble of scrambling to look for another name when the priest won't accept it. If your priest have no problem with it, then that's fine.

Our first kid was baptized Catholic, and nobody told us anything about names. As a matter of fact, I've never heard that mentioned before.

I think if a priest told me he didn't approve of my kid's name, that's the last time he'd see me.

When my brother and I were baptized, we had to pick out a christian name to be baptised as. Kind of weird but at the time my brother and I were excited about getting a 'new' name.

Some boys names I like are: Gage, Chandler & Zane. There are others, but I really like those.

I have 2 boys one named Cadin and one Grant.

If I have a little boy his name will be Nathaniel Ryan.

By the way for the one who said their kids were named after Cowboys..... My oldest daughter was named after a porn star.

it seems like there aren't nearly as many good names for boys as for girls! any suggestions of where to look for a good list?

I went with Mason Randall for my little man. I was torn between Jackson Randall, Randall Jackson(but that would have made 3 Randy's in my family and I didn't want a name we already had, coming from a family with about 50 kids is hard to come up with a name that wasn't already taken) any hoo, I also like Carlyle Randall...

I gave him Randall after my Godfather and Mason just stuck with me when I heard it. I looked on the top 100 names on babycenter.com and went with a name not on the list or near the bottom of the list. I didn't want a common name.

Good Luck! Congrats!

Not Gage! "Pet Cemetary!"

How 'bout Bloodfart?

:lmao:

Gavin is pretty popular now. We were going to go with Ethan Zachary for skeeter if she was a boy.

Or Ed Zachary.
