Anybody know where I can get Frontline the cheapest?

Since I plan to spray outside for the little buggers also; Lowe's is a good place to find the stuff to do a major "fumigating", isn't it?

I plan to spray the outside of the house foundation and the doors.
I haven't really ironed out how I'm really gonna do it; but I have "a plan."
And "I love it when a plan comes together.....

I'd be careful where you buy it..cheapest is not always the best. Some can be outdated, etc., and doesn't work as well. Actually, my vet beats most of the places around and so does Prince Frederick Animal Hospital.

My vet doesn't sell it anymore, they sent me to this little pet shop that sells it by the tube, but you're right, I think it was outdated because it didn't work well at all. Plus it was very expensive. I did see the 3 pack of Front Line Plus at Walmart yesterday for 40 bucks.

I just bougth it Thursday at Tidewater Vet in Charlotte Hall. It was $84.90 for six tubes, and you also got two more tubes free. So what I'm saying is I got 8 tubes/months for $84.90. My poor cat was ate up with fleas, he doesn't go outside but the dogs carried them in on them.

$85.00? :yikes:
I wonder where the high price comes from.....the carrier or from Frontline? GEE WHIZ!!
That almost sounds like Tidewater Vet making ONE H*LL of a profit on that stuff. But.....if that's what it takes.....if that is the going rate for this stuff

Hartz Victims Website

HartzVictims.org - One More Victim is One Too Many

I don't recall the details but there have been a number of pet deaths due to Hartz products. I am not sure if people used the products appropriately or not? Someone else may recall the details. Although anything not used per instructions could cause similar problems?

RIGHT THERE.....'not used per instructions.' I'm sure that is the cause. I have tried Hartz flea collars before and they never made my cat sick or anything; but they didn't do a whole lot to decrease the flea population either.

I used to use the Hartz flea drops on my cats (many years ago) it smelled like roses and never made them sick and worked very well. Can't find it anymore so I'm thinking it got taken off the market. I used it exactly the way the directions said and didn't have any problems but that was before I started hearing about all the problems people were having with it.

Bio Spot is an alternative to Frontline that I hear doesn't work as well, but it's less toxic to the pet. Oh my and I see there is a Bio Spot Victims website also - sheesh. I guess all this stuff has risks.

Ooohhhhh many years ago we had fleas so bad that I had to wrap myself in a sheet to sleep to keep the fleas off me until I could get the house sprayed ...... takes weeks to get rid of them because of all the eggs that hatch.

I actually considered putting a flea collar around my ankle once; just to see if it would keep the fleas off-a ME. MY infestation is SO bad, I can feel them jumping on me.
