Looking for info on Attorney Joseph Ernest Bell (Leonardtown)

Hi all—I’m trying to track down attorney Joseph Ernest Bell (or his former office). From what I’ve gathered, he was based on Courthouse Drive in Leonardtown and may have retired as the office is listed as closed and up for lease according to Google.

He was involved in preparing a legal description for a property around 2002, and I’m hoping to ask a quick question about it.

Does anyone know if he’s still practicing, or if there’s a way to reach him—or if his files might’ve been passed to another attorney locally?

Any help would be greatly appreciated—thank you!

Thanks again for the help earlier. I tried calling the number listed for Joseph Bell’s office, but it looks like it’s no longer active. The office of land records had no information on who may be a custodian of his files or any other information unfortunately and further no information on how I might proceed.

If anyone knows whether his records were transferred, or if another local attorney took over his files (or office), I’d love to connect.

If its a question about a legal description of a property, I would speak with a title abstractor OR another attorney who typically handles real estate matters. Tri-Co Abstract in Leonardtown is a good place to start
