i dont wanna pay those prices.... i was hoping for a used one for under 1000
Good used diesels never go that cheap. Not even at three times that in too many cases.
Best luck I've had (I'm all Ford so it's all 7.3s, but still..) has been to buy an entire used truck, running and rolling, and then sell off the stuff that you don't need after the swapping is done.

Well I found one at a junk yard around here yesterday evening. Thing is rusted to hell cuz it's coming from a old plow truck. It isn't locked up and truck reads 124k. Bad news is their is antifreeze in the oil. Good news is the one I currently have has a bad block with good heads. They want 350 for it
