Sirius NASCAR Radio's Sirius Speedway is reporting today that Teresa Earnhardt has enlisted the services of Bear, Stearns and Company to find a buyer -- or at least a major financial investor -- for Dale Earnhardt, Inc. Bear Stearns is an investment bank, securities trading and brokerage firm based in New York City, and has been charged with finding a buyer for the entire operation. Barring that, Earnhardt is said to be interested in selling at least a minority interest in the team. DEI President of Global Operations Max Siegel declined to comment on the story when contacted earlier today.(Sirius NASCAR Radio's Sirius Speedway)(7-7-2008)

Imagine that....

B!tch won't sell to Junyer but she'll sell whole company now.

I'm sure Dale's rolling around in his grave right now.

But wait, there's more...
My money's on ...

Tony Stewart & Dale Junior going into partnership and buying it. :really:

Tony's been wanting to have Cup team ownership for some time, and Dale would be a likely partner given it was his daddy's company, and he and Tony are buddies. :tap:

haha, she realized its a sinking ship without jr now. I bet jr is happy that he went to hendrick instead of getting half of that company now.

I'd think it's cheaper for him to buy into it now that he's one of their drivers ... making it that much easier for him and Tony.

I dont' think its good for his career at this point in time to be an owner and a driver. I think Tony Stewart is going to struggle some next year when he tries it.

But Danny Boy has lots and lots of money to spend.
What's it done for the Redskins?

He can hire all the big names he wants. First, you've gotta have good drivers, then good crews and good guys at the fab shop, and then good people behind the scenes.

If they're lucky and get all that, they might have a shot at contending with Joey and Kyle.

Sounds like you have racing mixed up with stick and ball sports.
Drivers like Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart don't care how much money they're making. They race to race, and that's what they love to do.

That's got nothing to do with a BUSINESS like DEI.
I doubt if Busch and Stewart would drive for free

:bs: It's all about the money. Maybe they USED to drive for the love of it, but now it's the money, the promotions, the endorsements, etc....
